Notably, the initiative has united stakeholders around the power of sports and developed a national youth sports model that prioritises impact, equity in participation and sustainable development.
In a bid to be more dynamic in its approach this year, the brand toured a number of Schools in Lagos, including – Children’s International School, Rainbow College, Grange School, Caleb International School and a host of others to bring the Maltina School Games spirit to their inter-house sports competitions.
This has culminated in its partnership of the inaugural edition of the Athletic School Games held in Lagos on the 27th of April. The highly anticipated event saw Maltina collaborate with ASG to support young athletes from over 20 schools in Lagos state to represent their schools, competing in various track and field events.
The Brand Manager of Maltina, Daniella Ogunsanya said the brand is keenly and demonstrably interested in discovering and grooming young talents.
