Sky Bet Championship club West Bromwich Albion have confirmed the signing of Nigeria forward Josh Maja.
Maja signed a three-year contract at the Hawthorns.
The 24-year-old linked up with the Baggies on a free transfer after severing ties with Ligue 1 club Girondis Bordeaux at the end of last season.
The striker had previously played in England for Sunderland, Fulham, and Stoke City.
Head coach Carlos Corberan was happy with Maja’s arrival at the club.
“I am happy to have Josh here at the club. It was an important aim of ours to reinforce this position during the summer. We have done so with a player who has a big desire to succeed.
“Josh has international and Premier League experience and his skills complement Brandon Thomas-Asante in a way which means they can play together or on their own. He drops deep to build attacks and also has good instincts in the box,” he said.
