Magnus Abe loyalists withdraw from Rivers APC primaries

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State loyal to Senator Magnus Abe have said that they will not participate in the House of Assembly and governorship primaries of the party holding today.

The group, in a statement by one of their leaders, Chief Tony Okocha, said they will not be part of an “already skewed, biased and prejudiced process” in the state.

Okocha, who is also the South-South Coordinator of BAT Vanguard, urged their teeming supporters not to “dissipate scarce energies in a process that will not pass a muster”.

The statement advised them to “comfortably remain at their homes lounge with no interest in the usual charade of APC in the state”.

He however urged them to remain vigilant as they continue to bring them up to speed with “unfolding events”.
