Lobi Stars’ Madu disappointed with defeat to Enyimba

Lobi Stars midfielder, Christian Madu has expressed disappointment with his team’s defeat to Enyimba.

The Nigeria Premier League’s top scorer Chukwuemeka Obioma’s lone goal condemned Lobi Stars to their first loss at the ongoing NPL Super Six playoffs on Monday afternoon.

The former Rangers player is optimistic that his team can make up for the loss in their next game.

Lobi Stars will take on Rivers United on Wednesday.

“It’s really a disappointing defeat for us as we prepared and planned for victory,” Madu told newsmen at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

“We can rally round ourselves to make up for this loss in our matchday three game against Rivers United on Wednesday.

“There is still a lot to play for in this competition. We will do our best in subsequent matches,” he said.

Mohammed Babaganaru’s side will take on Rivers United in their next game on Wednesday.
