Lobi Stars had their first training session at the Lafia City Stadium on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s Nigeria Premier Football League encounter against Sunshine Stars.
The Makurdi club have adopted the ground as their home venue for the new season.
The Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports, Permanent Secretary, Barrister Isaac Dalandi assured the club of his support.
Lobi Stars captain, Daniel Atsaka appreciated the Nasarawa State Government for accepting to host the club’s home games this season.
“We are honored to share our NPFL moment this season with your state and the good people of Nasarawa State ,” he told the club’s media.
“We are positive and looking forward to an amazing season with support from everyone in your state.”
