Lisandro Martinez has returned to training at Carrington at Manchester United – less than a week after Erik ten Hag warned the defender that he expected him back at Old Trafford following his World Cup triumph.
Martinez showed up on Wednesday, exactly 10 days after winning the Qatar 2022 World Cup with Argentina.
Recall that he was allowed some time off following the end of the tournament.
He appeared at United’s training ground the day after the Red Devils’ 3-0 Premier League victory against Nottingham Forest while his teammates conducted a recovery session.
