Leke Abejide Pays WAEC Fees for Students in Ogidi Schools

In fulfillment of his promise at the Ogidi Day Festival last June, the Member of the House of Representatives representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Asiwaju Leke Abejide has paid the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) fees for all Senior Secondary School II students in the Community Secondary School and Government Day Secondary School, both in Ogidi.

He has credited the bank accounts of both schools with the sum of N25,000 pers SSS II student.

A total of 40 students in the Community Secondary School benefitted and 31 in GDSS at N25,000 per student.

After donating the sum of N2 million at the Ogidi Day Festival last June 18, Asiwaju Abejide had assured that parents and guardians of graduating students in both schools that they would, for the foreseeable future, no longer need to worry about the payment of the critical final examination fees for their children and wards.

Sources said he paid a total of N61 million for all final year students in Kabba/Bunu and Ijumu Local Government Areas.

Since he was elected into the House of Representatives, Asiwaju had been settling the final examination fees for all graduating students in Mopamuro, Yagba East and Yagba West Local Government Areas.
