Leicester City boss, Rodgers confident Ndidi will be fit for Nottingham Forest clash

Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers is confident Wilfred Ndidi will be available for Monday night’s Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

The midfielder picked up a minor hamstring injury in Leicester City’s 6-2 defeat to Nottingham Forest two weeks ago.

Ndidi returned early from international duty last week as a result of the setback.

Rodgers is, however, hopeful the Nigeria international will be fit for the game against Steve Cooper’s side.

“We had Wilfred Ndidi come back early,” Rodgers told a press conference on Friday.
“He’s looking really positive and trained this morning so hopefully, he will be fine.”

Leicester City is still looking for their first win of the season.

The Foxes are bottom of the log with one point from seven games.
