‘Lagos is a blessing ground for me’ – Enyimba goalie, Olorunleke

Enyimba goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke says Lagos has been a blessing ground for him following his invitation to the Super Eagles.

Olorunleke helped Enyimba win their ninth Nigeria Premier League title at the just concluded NPL Super Six playoffs.

His impressive performance in the competition earned him an invitation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.

The former Akwa United shot stopper claimed the state has continued to give him positive results any time he visits.

“Lagos has continued to be a blessing to me anytime I visit,” Olorunleke told newsmen in Lagos.

“Here I won the NPL title with Enyimba and earned a call up into the Super Eagles, it’s a big blessing for me.

“Apart from this, Lagos has continued to give me positive results anytime I visit.”

Olorunleke will look to start in goal when the Super Eagles take on the Leone Stars in Monrovia on Sunday.
