Kogi State govt. Approves appointment of Hon. Justice Siyaka MomohJimoh Usman as Amirul Hajj for 2024 holy pilgrimage

The Kogi Government has approved the Appointment of Hon. Justice Siyaka MomohJimoh Usman, President, Customary Court of Appeal, Kogi State, as Amirul Hajj for the 2024 holy pilgrimage, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a letter signed by the Executive chairman of Kogi state Hajj Commission, Sheikh Lugman Imam Abdullahi, said the appointment of justice Usman, was based on his hard work, record of Achievement, Experience and commitment to peace and development of the State.

The Executive Chairman further stated that the commission hopes the learned jurist will give his all in this highly coveted spiritual assignment and expressed the readiness of the commission to work with him to achieve maximum success.

Meanwhile, the chairman used this opportunity to assure all intending pilgrims that preparations are ongoing and urged those that are yet to submit their international passport to do so immediately.
