Kogi Polytechnic denies recruiting new staff

The Kogi State Polytechnic has debunked reports that it is recruiting new staff.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Polytechnic Head, Public Relations and Protocol Unit, Uredo Omale, on Monday in Lokoja.

Omale admonished the general public to note that the information is dishonest, misleading and false in its entirety.

Parts of the statement read, “The attention of Kogi State Polytechnic Management has been drawn to a purported job opening offer currently circulating through a faceless and fraudulent channel.

“The Polytechnic is currently not inviting applications for jobs, has no relationship and cannot have anything to do whatsoever with the fraudulent portal through which interested applicants were directed to apply.

“The Polytechnic, therefore, wishes to warn job seekers and the general public to beware of the scam and stay away from the fraudulent outlet.”

She encouraged members of the public to always visit the Polytechnic website kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng for up-to-date information on programmes and activities of the institution.
