Kogi NUJ rejoices with Information and communications Commissioner, Fanwo over Chieftaincy title

Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has felicitated with the Honourable Commissioner of Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo on his conferment of the prestigious title of Oluomo of Amuroland by his His Royal Highness, Engr Alfred Aiyedogbon, the Alamuro of Amuroland.

The Council in a statement signed by the State Chairman, Alhaji Seidu Ademu Haruna and Secretary, Comrade Olusegun Ayindero-Oyenibi said Hon. Fanwo deserved the honour in view of his immense contributions to Amuro land, and the State at large.

It described him as an illustrious Son of the land and a politician of great repute who has attracted development to the area as well as empowered the youths to become better citizens.

The Council solidarized with the Commissioner and congratulated Chief Kingsley Femi Fanwo on the positive development.

The Kogi State Council of NUJ prayed for more wisdom to enable him contribute positively as a new member of Council of Chiefs of Amuro Kingdom.
