Kogi State Head of service, Mr Elijah Evinemi has Commended Kogi civil servants for performing their civic responsibility by voting for candidates of their choice in all elections.
Mr Evinemi made the call shortly after casting his vote at code 2 Obeiba1 ward, Ihima in Okehi Local Government Area.
He said voting in all elections is a civic responsibility that everyone must perform in order to enthrone government that will serve their interest.
Mr Evinemi expressed gratitude to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo for prioritising the interest of civil servants in the State.
He particularly, commended the governor for his approval for the immediate implementation of N72,500 minimum wage in the state.
He charged workers for reciprocating the kind gestures of the governor by rededicating themselves to duties for smooth running of government activities
Our reporter who monitored the elections in Adavi and Okehi Local Government Areas reports that the exercise went on smoothly in all the areas visited
