Kogi Hajj Commission commences enlightenment Programme for intending pilgrims from 21st to 23rd May, 2022

The Kogi State Hajj Commission has said that it will embark of enlightenment campaign for intending pilgrims in its zonal centers across the three senatorial districts of the state.

In a statement by the Chairman of the commission, Sheikh Imam Luqman, said the campaign will hold simultaneously in the three designated centers from Saturday 21st to Monday 23rd May, 2022.

According to the statement, the centers are; Darul Aqdam High School, Agassa in Okene Local Government Area for the central Senatorial district.

The campaign for the Eastern Senatorial district will hold at Nurul Islam Nursery and Primary school Anyigba, while that of the Western senatorial district will take place at the Hajj Commission Office in Lokoja.

It added that Medical screening for the intending pilgrims will hold between Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th May, 2022 at the Hajj Commission Office in Lokoja.

The inoculation of pilgrims and distribution of essential materials holds between Friday 27th to Saturday 28th May, 2022 at the Hajj commission office in Lokoja.

However, pilgrims are expected to visit the National Primary Healthcare centers in their various Local Government Areas, to receive COVID-19 booster vaccine on 27th May, 2022.

They are expected at the Hajj Commission office in Lokoja on 28th May, 2022 for their inoculation and distribution of essential materials.
