Kogi guber :OMM for Ododo begins mobilization for Usman Ododo’s Victory

A fresh dimension has been added to the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, as interest group has indicated interest to converged and launch Ododo Mandate Movement, (OMM), for the victory ahead of the November, 2023.

The convener of the group, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa-Amoka, said they will soon unveil plans toward ensuring the emergence of Alhaji Ododo as elected Governor of the state in November 2023.

The Convener of the group further stated that it is necessary to defend the mandate freely given to Ododo by members of his party to fast-track development in the state.

He affirmed that Ododo’s administration would engender responsible government whose priority is to accelerate social and economic development for sustainable well being of the state, by leveraging on the development template already developed by the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration.

He further said: “Tell me which of the key candidates in the just concluded governorship primaries election is most acceptable, considering record of their past performances, if not Alhaji Ododo.

“His victory was well deserved, and the results of the poll reflected the will of the people.

“Look at his achievements as Auditor General of the state, where he distinguished himself as a pacesetter. He has shown compassion to thousands of persons through various humanitarian interventions.

“The APC Governorship candidate has come to serve and to move Kogi state to its next realm of development. Therefore, those who are making efforts to distract his focus are advised to distance themselves from him. This is the reason political stakeholders would gathered to launch the movement very soon.

“We must defend Ododo’s mandate, because of his passion to serve and develop the state. As broadminded person, he has started consultations across the state already. He will certainly be a unifying point for our people”.

“Leadership is all about commitment and competency. That’s why we have no other option but to support and defend his mandate, because we believe he will do everything possible to move kogi forward.”
