Kogi Governor disengage Four KGIRS directors, appoints five others

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has approved the disengagement of four directors of the Kogi State Internal Revenue service, (KGIRS), whose tenure of eight years in office had elapsed.

The Governor also approved the elevation of five staff of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service to the positions of Directors.

The new directors are Emmanuel Yusufu as Director of Corporate Tax, Alhassan Obansa Sanni (Esq) as Director of Legal Services and Enforcement while Salawu Hassanat Enehezeyi has been appointed as Director of MDAs.

Others who benefited from the appointments are Abdullahi Bilikisu who is expected to serve as Director of Finance and Accounts while Alexious Olarinde Akande was also appointed as Director of Administration.

The directors disengaged are Olubnmi Ajayi, who, at the time of his disengagement, was the Director of MDAs and Other Revenue while John Salifu Ojonugwa, was the Director of Road Tax and Local Government Collections before his disengagement.

Other directors disengaged are Sadiq Ibrahim Ohindase who, at the time of his disengagement, was the Director of Tax Audit and Compliance just as Abubakar Mohammed Bello who heldsway as the Director of Administration was relief of his appointment as his service is no longer needed in the organization.
