Kogi-CSDA Board Commends State Government, World Bank Partnership on Rural Development

The effort and support of the government of Kogi state for the implementation of poverty reducing projects in the rural areas of Kogi state with the support of the World Bank has been commended by the Board of Directors of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency. (Kogi-CSDA).

The commendation was made by the Board of Directors represented by Mr. Victor Ibrahim, Board Member and the leader of the 3-Man Oversight Team to the Micro Project sites in Kogi East senatorial District.

The project visited are the Kogi Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Programme’s projects being implemented in Owoli (Idah), Ochadamu (Ofu) and Ochadamu Leprosy Colony (Ofu)The Board’s team was comprised of Mr. Aleni Emammanuel Allenclay and Mr Gabriesl Ibori.

The Projects visited at these sites include Classroom renovation and community Motorized Borehole Project in Ochadamu Community, a Primary Health Care clinic building construction and reticulation of Motorized borehole in Owoli-Apa and the Classroom renovation project and Clinic ward renovation project both located at the Holley Memorial Health Centre premises in Ochadamu Ofu LGA.

In a remark after the Oversight, the General Manager of the Kogi state Community and Social Development Agency, Chief Dauda O. Momoh was applauded for his dedication to duty as shown in the quality of the projects implementation and urged him to continue in that spirit.

The Board members on the visit were unanimous on the positive impact the projects visited would have on the communities when completed while urging the communities service providers to ensure quality and prompt completion of the projects.
