The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi state, for November 11, Governorship election, has assured the people that he will build on the existing legacy of provision of critical infrastructure of Governor Yahaya Bello and as well run an all inclusive government.
He stated this on Friday when he visited Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Gamji, with thousands of his supporters from across the five local government areas of central senatorial district who had gathered in his house, GRA Okene to receive the APC candidate
The governorship candidate who described his project as Kogi project, promised to run a united and all inclusive government, which he said will further unit the various ethnic groups in the state.
He commended Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Gamji for his leadership quality and his desire for a united Ebiraland, Kogi state and Nigeria as a whole .
Earlier in his welcome remarks, Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Gamji promised to work for the victory of the APC candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman in the November 11 governorship election in the state.
He commended APC delegates for electing Ododo as the candidate of the party, saying that he is a man who is well prepared for the job, noting that his humility is second to non.
According to him Ododo is trustworthy, reliable and dependable and can be entrusted with the affairs of the state, saying that the governor and the entire APC members have made the right choice.
He called on all the people of Kogi state to rally round the governorship can, saying that by his conduct, he will be a unifying force for the entire people of Kogi state, irrespective of tribe and religious affiliation..
He maintained that the people of the state must unit and chat a common front for the over all development of the state.
He commended the state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his developmental efforts, saying that he has delivered the needed dividends of democracy to the three senatorial districts far more than his promises to the people.
He called on the people to ensure that they collect their permanent voter card, (PVC), which he said is their power.
The chairman of APC in Kogi state, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, assured that the party will work very hard towards winning the election, saying that the party has a very sellable candidate in Ododo and his deputy, Oyibo.
In the entourage of the APC governorship candidate are; Hon. Sani Egidi Abdulraheem, House of Representatives member for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, the Kogi state APC party chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, the Executive chairmen of Okene, Okehi and Adavi LGAs.
Others are; the Commissioner for Local government and chieftaincy Affairs, political appointees, among other party stalwarts.
