Kidnapped Children Of Kaduna Judge Regain Freedom

After 15 days in captivity, the three remaining kidnapped children of a Kaduna state Judge, Janet Galadima, have regained their freedom.

Chairman of the Kaduna state Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Barrister Godwin Ochai, confirmed that the children were released on Tuesday.

He thanked God and everyone who stood by the family.

Recall that Justice Janet Gimba and her four children were taken from their home located in Mahuta New Extension, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna state on 23rd June, 2024 at 11pm.

She was later released five days ago, leaving her children in custody of the bandits after they reportedly killed the couple’s eldest son, 14-year-old Victor.

They, however, demanded a ransom of N150 million and threatening to harm the remaining children.

ASP Mansir Hassan, Police Public Relations Officer of the Kaduna Police Command, had earlier confirmed the killing of 14-year-old by the terrorists.

The deceased was the eldest son of the judge.
