Michael Aboh, member of the popular Zule Zoo music band is dead.
His death was announced on Instagram by his band member, Al-Hassan Ibrahim.
Ibrahim who expressed sadness over the sudden demise of his colleague wrote:
“It is so sad and quick to say after our long run together in this life to live a better life coming short for you…
My brother collapsed while taking his bath this morning and now My Michael is no more.
“Tears has behold my eyes and my hands are shaking as I can’t hide the fact that you’ve passed on this day really cannot question God for I have lost the other part of myself, a brother and a friend. Oh Death Why? Rest In Peace.”
The musical duo, Ibro and Mike rose to the limelight after the success of their smash hit ‘Kerewa’ which was released in early 2000and became the hit song at every party, homes and on the streets.
Before his death, Mr. Aboh has been off the stage for a long time and his colleague has been heard speaking about his ill health on different occasions.
