Kano Pillars recruit 22 new players ahead 2022/23 campaign

Kano Pillars have signed 22 new players to bolster their squad ahead of the 2022/23 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The Sai Masu Gida were relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season.

According to a statement issued by the media officer of the club, Idris Malikawa, the new arrivals will join the 18 players retained from the 2021/22 campaign.

The players were selected during an open screening exercise in Kano.

Former Lobi Stars and Warri Wolves handler, Evans Ogenyi was recently appointed new technical adviser of the club.

The experienced tactician has been charged with the responsibility of returning the club to the top-flight.
