Kano Pillars, Katsina United supporters meet to settle fans’ rift

Kano Pillars and Katsina United supporters have strengthened their relationship ahead of the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League.

A delegation of the Chanji Boys supporters club met with the Sai Masu Gida supporters on Sunday in Kano.

Both delegates agreed on how to educate members on how to avoid violence during and after games in the NPFL.

They also urged the club hierarchy to find a lasting solution to the rancour between them before the start of the NPFL season.

Kano Pillars and Katsina United secured promotion from the Northern Conference group of the Nigeria National League.

Recall that youths suspected to be supporters of Kano Pillars damaged Katsina United bus after a goalless draw at the Sani Abacha Stadium in 2022.
