“Jos attack is another evidence of failed leadership” – Apostle Suleman

‎The President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman has condemned the killing of residents of Angwa Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

‎Suleman in a statement issued on Monday, evening said the attack and killing of residents by some yet-to-be-identified gunmen is evidence of failed leadership in Nigeria.

‎The cleric noted that Nigerians are currently witnessing a kind of leadership that prioritises politics over the protection of the lives and property of those they have sworn to protect.

‎According to him, Nigerian leaders have continued to waste the people’s collective resources in what he described as a pre-election jamboree.

‎His words, “Leadership that prioritises politics over protection of lives..Choosing rather to waste our collective patrimony in pre-election jamboree and pre-coronation plans..”

‎Further stating that he believes in the power of prayer, Suleman said leaders cannot wish away their responsibilities by praying.

‎He added, “Posterity will judge a leadership that now emboldens, enables and replicates what it once vehemently condemned..

‎“I believe in the power of prayers but prayers won’t replace responsibility..

‎We need humane leaders. These current folks have zero affiliation with empathy…

‎We are tired..it’s depressingly exhausting.

‎“We stand with the families who lost loved ones and pray for fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” Suleman said.

‎The cleric also took a swipe at those who defend the current administration over peanuts.

‎He asked the supporters of the government to ensure they engage with his remarks with good grammar.

‎“And for those who will engage this tweet to support failed leadership for the crumbs they offer you, pls show your irritation via good grammar. So even if I am irritated by your intentional delusion, I would be encouraged by your mastery of words,” he added.
