Jigawa’s gov dissolves cabinet ahead of May 29

Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has dissolved his cabinet ahead of the May 29 handing over.

Jigawa State Commissioner of Information Youth Sports and Culture, Alhaji Bala Ibrahim, disclosed this after the state valedictory executive council meeting presided over by Gov Abubakar.

He said the dissolution affected the Secretary to the State Government and Head of Civil Service. Others affected are all political appointees and commissioners, as well as heads of government parastatals and agencies.

The governor directed them to hand over to their permanent secretaries or senior officers in their respective MDAs.

He thanked all the executive members and other appointees for their support and cooperation.
