Jamie Carragher blames one Arsenal star after 2-2 draw with West Ham

Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher has blamed Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale for West Ham’s equaliser in Sunday’s Premier League 2-2 draw in east London.

Carragher believes Ramsdale could have done more to stop West Ham’s second goal against Arsenal.

Jarrod Bowen smashed his effort past Ramsdale to secure a point for West Ham.

Ramsdale produced a brilliant performance in the Gunners’ 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield last week and almost single-handedly secured a point for Mikel Arteta’s side.

But he could not replicate those heroics against the Hammers on Sunday.

“Gabriel [Magalhaes] just does not know Bowen is there,” Carragher said on Sky Sports.

“The ball was more in hope, but Gabriel just left it. The goalkeeper [Ramsdale], who was fantastic last week, he has got to save that.”
