Iwuanyanwu’s death big shock to Ndigbo – Otti, Mba

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has described the death of the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu as a big loss to Nigerian nation and Igbos all over the world.

Otti in a press release made available by his Chief Press Secretary, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, said that Iwuanyanwu was a patriot and lover of his people.

Also speaking on the development, the Chairman of Abia State council of traditional rulers, Eze Linus Nto Mba expressed sadness over the death of Iwuanyanwu, saying that the former President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo was very outspoken against the challenges confronting Igbos in Nigeria and abroad.

The monarch, who described the death of Iwuanyanwu as a big blow to Ndigbo, said he galvanized the entire Igbo nation in capacity building and tackled unemployment among Igbo youths by creating many jobs and providing educational opportunities.

Eze Mba further said that Iwuanyanwu in his lifetime, unified the Igbos in industrialization of the country, saying that the Igbo nation had suffered a big loss.
