It’s not about money – Bellingham speaks on joining Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham has said that his sensational move to Real Madrid had nothing to do with money.

The England international was unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu as a Real Madrid player on Thursday.

“Money is not a thing for me,” the World Cup star told reporters during his first press briefing.

“I don’t think about money at all when I make these kinds of decisions. I never have, and I never will. I play the game purely out of love,” he stated.

The English player, who joined Los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund, further explained that he spoke with people from the Spanish giants, adding that he loved the feeling he got from the 2022 Champions League winners.

“I couldn’t hide it. I told them straight away what I felt, and after that happened on Monday, it all happened quickly,” he added.
