Former Liverpool striker, Michael Owen, has insisted that the Reds are not in need of a complete squad overhaul this summer.
Liverpool came close to securing a prestigious quadruple last campaign, missing out on the Premier League and Champions League honours by the narrowest margins.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently in the 5th position on the Premier League table this season.
Liverpool finished in second position on the Premier League table last season behind Manchester City.
But they have not been impressive so far this season, as they would definitely end the season without winning any trophy.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Owen said, “I have been screaming at the television and I have been looking at social media for so long now and it drives me insane.
“This team [Liverpool] months ago, they had won the League Cup, they won the FA Cup, they were the better team in the [UEFA] Champions League and they had won the league with about 20minutes to go on the last day.
“They were minutes, and one or two games away from being one of the most decorated teams of all time and then a few months later, just because there have been a few bad performances and it has been a rocky season: ‘Rip everything up’.”
