Islamic group loses 3 members in road accident in Niger

At least three members of the Niger State chapter of the Joint First Aid Group of Islam, Zone C, reportedly died in an auto accident in Kontagora, Kontagora Local Government Area of the state.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday.

The victims, riding on a motorcycle heading for a wedding, were reportedly hit by a vehicle, DAILY POST learnt.

According to a witness, the victims were knocked down 10 minutes after they left Kontagora on their way to Tunga Kawo.

Malam Mustapha Nasiru Batsari, the zonal chairman of the group, in a statement, expressed shock over the tragedy and also notified that the burial of the deceased is scheduled for today at 4 pm at the palace of the Emir of Kontagora.
