INEC displays Preliminary Voter’s Register in Rivers

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Rivers State has displayed the Preliminary Register of Voters in all of its offices in the 23 local government areas of the state.

The commission advised the public to visit the INEC LGA offices where they indicated to vote to confirm that their names, gender, address, and Polling Units are correctly represented in the Register before the printing of their PVCs.

INEC said the exercise which started on Monday, August 15 will run until Sunday, August 21st, 2022.

The commission however explained that the display exercise for Claims and Objections is for fresh Registrants during the 4th quarter of the CVR exercise.
