The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said that he would be reviewing the ruling delivered by a Federal High Court recognising Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the party.
Obi in a statement posted on his X account said he would be reviewing the court’s decision alongside the governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, LP’s caretaker chairman and secretary.
According to the former governor of Anambra state, he was in a meeting with the above-listed individuals on Tuesday, October 8, to discuss and review the recent developments in the Labour Party and the judgement.
He further urged members of the Labour Party to remain calm and patient as they continue to engage in discussions and consultations aimed at ensuring a unified party.
added, “We must not allow this to divert us from addressing the pressing issues affecting our people today.
“We have always known that the task of creating a new Nigeria that is possible will not come without challenges,” Obi said.
