Manchester United-bound Casemiro has said an emotional goodbye to Real Madrid as he closes in on a move.
The Brazil international said he would never forget former teammates, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
The Brazilian is set to be confirmed as a new Red Devils player today as he said farewell to the Spanish giants.
The two clubs have agreed a fee of around £70m for Casemiro.
“Luka Modric and Toni Kroos… I can’t forget them! We won a lot together. I’m sure one day I’ll come back. I want to give back all the love Real Madrid gave me,” he told reporters.
“I am excited to develop at a big club like Manchester United. President, thank you a lot. This club will have a great future with you. Hala Madrid!”
