Iheanacho grabs assist in Leicester City’s defeat to Arsenal

Kelechi Iheanacho bagged an assist on his first Premier League appearance as Leicester City succumbed to a 4-2 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Iheanacho took the place of Jamie Vardy 20 minutes from time.

The forward set up James Maddison for Leicester City’s second goal in the 74th minute.

The Nigeria international came close to hitting the target two minutes earlier.

Iheanacho’s international teammate, Wilfred Ndidi featured for 90 minutes in the game.

Gabriel Jesus bagged a brace with Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli also on target for the Gunners.

Leicester City are still without a win in the Premier League this season after drawing 2-2 against Brentford in their opening game.

Arsenal on the other hand have two wins from outings.
