Odion Ighalo scored a brace for Al Hilal as they defeated Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr 2-0 in the Saudi Arabia League on Tuesday.
The result means Al Nassr could fall six points behind table toppers Al Ittihad who have a game in hand.
Ighalo’s two goals came from the penalty spot.
The former Super Eagles striker converted successfully from 12 yards in the 42nd and 62nd minutes.
Prior to Tuesday’s game, Ighalo had failed to score in Al Hilal’s last three fixtures.
Al Hilal had lost two and drawn one of their last three fixtures, while for Al Nassr it halted a run of four games without defeat (three wins and one draw).
Also Al Hilal, on 49 points, remain in fourth place and are seven points from leaders Al Ittihad.
