I would have been musician – Plateau coach, Ilechukwu

Plateau United head coach, Fidelis Ilechwuku, admitted that if he had not forged a good career in coaching, he would have ended up as a musician.

The Peace Boys tactician disclosed in a chat with Elegbete TV that his love for music is unimaginable.

“Apart from football, music is another thing I had passion for while I was growing up. I have so much emotional attachment to music. It lifts my soul and makes me happy,” he stated.

“If I wasn’t into coaching, I will be a musician.”

Ilechwuku is well known for his taste in fashion and also his animation on the touchline during matches.

He started his coaching career with the defunct Lagos-based Mountain of Fire and Miracle (MFM FC) before having a brief stint with Heartland in Owerri.
