Presidential candidate of the Republican Party for the 2024 election, Donald Trump has accused the Joe Biden administration of creating the Russia-Ukraine war.
Trump and Zelenskiy have not spoken since the former left the presidency in 2021.
Trump may speak on the phone with Zelenskiy as sources told Reuters that the two sides had talked about having the conversation on Friday.
Speaking at the Republican national convention, Trump said, “I will end every single international crisis that the current administration has created, including the horrible war with Russia and Ukraine, which would have never happened if I was president.”
