I will continue to work for the progress of my land, serve my people- Hon Tijani Damisa

The immediate past House of Representatives Member, representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency of Kogi state, Hon.Ahmad Tijani Damisa, has promised to continue to work for the progress and development of his constituency and better the lives of his people even after office.

Hon Ahmad Tijani Damisa, a three time house of reps member stated this in Okene when he was received by his constituents who had gathered at various locations to welcome him back home after his purposeful representation at the green chamber of the national Assembly.

He recalled his various intervention in the last twelve years to include his medical outreach, his intervention in security by providing support to security agencies in his community, women and youths empowerment.

Others are the construction of a modern town hall in Agasa, payment of WAEC fees to several indigent students across his constituency and the provision of farm implements and inputs to farmers across his constituency, among several intervention too numerous to mention.

He commended the Governor of Kogi state Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his courage to make a difference in the politics of Kogi state, through the provision of several critical infrastructures across the three senatorial districts of the state, which he said has direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state

Hon. Tijani Damisa who also paid royal homages to the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Ado Ibrahim and the Ohi of Okegwe and Okene, thanked the Royal fathers for their support and fatherly advise which he said had contributed greatly to his modest achievements at the national Assembly.

He also thanked his constituents for their support all through his twelve years at the national Assembly saying, “I have just finished my assignment that you gave me at the national Assembly, I am still ready and available to serve you in whatever capacity you want me to serve you in future. You are all wonderful. I can’t thank you people enough.
