‘I hate that he plays for Arsenal’ – Maddison on England teammate

Tottenham Hotspur star James Maddison has admitted he hates seeing his fellow England teammate play for Arsenal.

Arsenal beat the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea to sign Rice from West Ham United in the summer.

Rice has been impressive for Arsenal so far this season.

“Yeah, he’s got everything,” Maddison told Amazon Prime.

“He is technically really, really good. We do passing for England in training. He is a joke when it comes to low-cut passes, zingers. I think he’s a top, top player, [I] hate that he plays for Arsenal.”
