Humanitarian Services; SEA Care Foundation donates N.1m to Accident Victim, Kabiru Yusuf in Lokoja

In its determination to wipe tears from the faces of those in critical needs, the Sea Care Foundation, has donated the sum of one hundred thousand naira to Kabiru Yusuf who was involved in a ghastly motor accident in Lokoja.

While presenting the Cheque to the victim on Wednesday at the Accident unit of male Surgical ward of Specialist Hospital Lokoja, the Chairman of the foundation, Attai Ohiemi, said, it is their modest contribution to ameliorate the hardship occasioned by the unfortunate incident.

He said, the token is to kick-start the process of skin grafting surgery on the affected leg, adding that the foundation as part of her humanitarian services, was moved to intervene, when it learnt of the ugly situation.

He disclosed that the promoter of the Foundation, Hon. Sani Egidi Abdulraheem, a former Permanent Secretary in the state Civil service and the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), House of representatives for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency on hearing the incidence, with immediate alacrity directed for the disbursement.

He explained that SEA Care Foundation has been touching lives in the areas of educational infrastructures, Community services through the provision of electric transformers for those in black out , roads, assisting widows, orphans and the vulnerable.

According to him, ” The essence of living is to contribute to the welfare and wellbeing of the people. Keeping all the blessings of God on you to yourself alone is not wise. It is in the light of this that the Sea Care foundation was established to meet the needs of people around us.

” To me, politics should be about the promotion of the general good of the people. It is to bring light to terminate darkness. As the saying goes, no one is too poor to give.

” I challenge those in authority and the politicians to making the development of the People their cardinal objective, as politics is all about the people” Ohiemi asserts.

He, however, called on the people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency to vote for candidate that is empathic, credible and competent that will deliver dividends of democracy to them.

He urged the electorate to vote for the APC candidate in the 2023 Ajaokuta House of representatives election, saying, he possessed the wherewithal to bring the needed transformation.

Responding to the gift, Kabiru Yusuf who was enveloped in tears of joy commended the SEA Care foundation for the gesture and pray God to grant him his heart desires.

While calling on the electorate in the Ajaokuta Federal Constituency to vote for the Founder of SEA Care foundation who has been bringing succour to the less privileged, revealed that voting for him, means voting for development and emancipation of the people.

Recall that Kabiru a welder had gone to write NECO examinations and on his way from Itobe, on the 18/7/2022; the Keke he was traveling in had a collision with a motorbike which threw him on the road and in the process a speeding bus crushed him.
