The Ohimegye Igu of Kotonkarfe, His Royal Majesty, (HRM) Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu has been officially turbaned in his Kingdom, Kotonkarfi, in Kogi Local Government Area.
The turbaning ceremony took place today at the Palace of the Ohimegye, in Kogi LGA of Kogi State.
The turbaning was done by the Kingmakers at the Odaki ruling House.
Shortly after the turbaning, HRM, the Ohimegye Igu Kotonkarfe, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu, urged the people to work in unity and embrace peace
He promised to carry all the people along, solicited cooperation of the people.
His accession to the throne of fathers, followed the exit of the the former Ohimege, Alhaji Abdulrazaz Isah Koto, who was deposed on Monday by the Kogi State Government.
