Hon. Moshood Omuya congratulates Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, over his Victory at the tribunal

…commends former Governor Yahaya Bello for his wise choice

The newly appointed Special Adviser to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Youth Mobilization and Voters Education, Alhaji Moshood Omuya has congratulated the Governor on his Victory at the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal.

While describing the victory as well deserved and expected, given the massive support he said, Ododo received across the state, during the November 11, 2023 election, he noted that the tribunal only affirmed the wishes of Kogi people.

According to him the victory of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo signifies peace, unity and development of Kogi State.

He commended the Former Governor and leader of the APC in the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for his confidence in the ability of Ahmed Usman Ododo to sustain his development template, assuring that Ododo will deliver the good dividends of democracy to the people of Kogi State.

“We are happy with the choice of Ododo by former Governor Yahaya Bello as his worthy successor. The acceptability of Ododo was reflected in his overwhelming victory at the, November 2023 Poll, across the three senatorial districts of the state. I thank the former governor for his wise decision.

The APC chieftain described the former Governor as a sincere leader whose only interest is the development, unity and the wellbeing of the people of the state.

Hon. Omuya noted that Governor Ododo has demonstrated capacity through his commitment to the development of the state’s infrastructure, zero tolerance for insecurity, welfare of the citizens and his humility.

He called on the people of the state, particularly the opposition, to rally round the governor to promote accelerated development of all sectors of the state.

The SA prayed for the needed strength and wisdom for the governor, to able him to continue to pilot the affairs of the state for the greater good of all.

He thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for appointing him as Special Adviser in his cabinet, saying that he will serve as rallying point and help to promote the development agenda of the administration.
