Chelsea boss Graham Potter has hailed Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti ahead of their Champions League quarter final meeting.
The Blues were drawn against LaLiga giants in Friday’s quarter finals draw.
Speaking to the British press ahead of their Premier League clash with Everton on Saturday, Potter said Ancelotti’s achievements are incredible.
On his side’s battle for four top four finish, the Englishman said they are focusing on taking the games as they come.
He batted away questions about their top-four bid, saying: “Where we are now is to focus on Everton, there are three points that are up for grabs against a tough team – a team that are on the up for sure. That’s all that we can focus on, we can’t worry about May or June.”
On facing Ancelotti, Potter added: “I’ve played against him when he was at Everton. He is a gentleman and there’s nothing I can say in terms of the respect I have for what he’s achieved in his career.
“I think the length of time he’s had between Champions League wins – twenty years – that is incredible.”
