He’s like Kaka, I don’t know how Chelsea let him go – Ferdinand on midfielder

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has said Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala reminds him of AC Milan legend Kaka.

Ferdinand also wondered why Chelsea allowed Musiala to leave the club back in 2019 for Bayern.

The former England defender made the comment while speaking to Rising Ballers.

“I watched Musiala live in Munich yesterday, this guy is on a different planet. His ceiling, and Jude Bellingham’s ceiling, ain’t far off. How England let him go, how Chelsea let him go, I don’t know.

“This kid is a mad talent. He reminds me of Kaka… he seems like he is even silkier.

“He is the closest thing to Kaka I have seen,” he said.

Musiala has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in world football over the last few seasons.

The 20-year-old has helped Bayern Munich lift ten trophies so far, including a UEFA Champions League and four Bundesliga titles.
