Liverpool legend, Danny Murphy has suggested that Chelsea’s new signing, Joao Felix is better than three Blues stars, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.
Murphy described Felix as a ‘magical talent’, insisting that he would take the Portugal international over Havertz, Pulisic and Ziyech.
According to him, Felix will improve Chelsea’s options in attack.
Chelsea had on Wednesday confirmed that they had signed Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid for the remainder of the season.
Graham Potter’s side beat the likes of Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United to sign Felix for almost £10million.
“If you take away the money side of it for a minute, the way I look at it is I would’ve Joao Felix over Hakim Ziyech, I would’ve him over Christian Pulisic, and I would’ve him over Kai Havertz,” Murphy told talkSPORT.
“Felix and Havertz are quite similar, so maybe that one would be a debate. But Felix will improve their options in the wide areas.
“He’ll keep the ball, go past players, he’s got beautiful technique, he’s strong, he’s got magical talent,” he added.
