He’s been outstanding, kept Casemiro on bench – Murphy hails Man United star

Former Liverpool midfielder, Danny Murphy has passionately defended Manchester United midfielder, Scott McTominay in the face of criticism.

He praised the Manchester United star’s recent performances, which have kept new signing, Casemiro, out of the team.

Casemiro joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid this summer and is yet to make a full debut for Erik ten Hag’s men following McTominay’s recent performances in the midfield alongside Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes.

“In the last few games, he’s kept Casemiro out of the team,” Murphy said on talkSPORT.

“I think he’s been outstanding.

“If anyone wants to think negatively, watch him in Manchester United’s last three games.”
