He’ll not score 18 goals – Nicol reveals Arteta might regret Arsenal’s new signing

Liverpool legend, Steve Nicol, has revealed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta might regret the club’s new summer signing, Kai Havertz.

Nicol insisted that Havertz, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea a few days ago, will not score 18 goals for Arteta’s side next season.

“He is not getting 18 goals. I would love to see how he gets all these assists and goals because I am not sure he starts,” Nicol told ESPN.

“There is no way [Gabriel] Jesus doesn’t start, right?! The front three is set. If [Kai] Havertz, in his first game, if he does start in the middle, has a shocker, then you might never see him again.

“Arteta might go ‘you know what, I have made a big mistake. This is not going to work’”.
