Brazil legend, Rivaldo, wants Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo to join Real Madrid when he finally leaves Al-Nassr.
Rivaldo reckons that Ronaldo made a mistake by moving to Saudi Arabia side Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo, 38, joined Al-Nassr on a free transfer last December after his contract with Manchester United was terminated.
Reports had emerged that Ronaldo could leave Al-Nassr this summer.
However, Rivaldo believes a return to Real Madrid would be a good move for Ronaldo as he can help the Los Blancos win more titles.
“There are rumors indicating that Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t happy in Saudi Arabia and may already be thinking about a move this summer,” Rivaldo told Betfair.
“Betfair make Real Madrid the favorites to sign him. I understand that sometimes players go there to sign big money contracts, but life over there is more closed and football is not always as easy as you would hope.
“So it would be nice for football to see Ronaldo return to Real Madrid to perhaps finish his career. Of course, the fans need to understand that they won’t be able to demand the same from him as when he was 25 or 26 years old. But he can still help the club win more titles before he retires.”
Ronaldo still has about two years left in his contract with Al-Nassr.
