He’ll fit in straightaway – William Gallas hands Boehly striker to sign

Former Chelsea defender, William Gallas, has urged his former club under the leadership of Todd Boehly to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona this summer.

Gallas believes Aubameyang would fit in straightaway in Thomas Tuchel’s squad at Chelsea.

Chelsea is looking to strengthen its attack line this summer after losing Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner to Inter Milan and RB Leipzig, respectively.

“Chelsea should have known they had to sign a striker a few months ago. I don’t know why they are mainly linked with defenders when Lukaku did not stay and Timo Werner didn’t perform well over his two years at Chelsea,” Gallas told Genting Casino.

“If Aubameyang can leave Barcelona, he would be good but he only just joined them.

“I would take Aubameyang though, as he is really experienced in the Premier League, and he will fit in straight away with the players.”
