He would adapt perfectly well – Guardiola gives verdict on Lewandowski

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has given his verdict on Barcelona target, Robert Lewandowski.

Guardiola said Lewandowski would adapt perfectly well at Barcelona should he eventually join the LaLiga giants this summer.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach was speaking at the preview of the Puma Legends Trophy tournament at Pula Golf Resort, Mallorca, where he spoke about various sporting topics.

“I have no idea, to be honest, but would he be a good fit? We are talking about Lewandowski,” Guardiola said.

“He would adapt perfectly well anywhere. But I don’t know if Barcelona can sign him because of their financial situation or if Bayern [Munich] will let him leave.”

Reports that Lewandowski has been heavily linked with a move away from Bayern Munich to join Barcelona.

The Poland international recently told Bayern Munich that he wants to leave the Bundesliga champions this summer.

The 2021 FIFA Best Player has one year left on his current deal with Bayern Munich.
