He won’t bury Shettima – Adamu Garba reveals Tinubu’s absence as Peter Obi, Atiku speak in Lagos

The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Tinubu was absent yesterday at the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, 62nd conference.

Tinubu sent his running mate, Kashim Shettima, to represent him at the event held in Eko Atlantic Hotel in Lagos State.

His absence has invoked anger from some Nigerians who faulted his absence from the event that took place in his city.

Reacting to the backlash, a former APC presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, said Tinubu sent his running mate to show inclusive leadership.

In a tweet, Garba said Tinubu has shown that he would not run a megalomaniac leadership.

Garba said the APC presidential candidate has no plan to “bury” Kashim to be everywhere.

He wrote: “Tinubu absent, Tinubu absent. You guys don’t understand the true meaning of inclusive leadership.

“Unlike others, Tinubu clearly shows that he’s not planning to be a megalomaniac leader who should bury his Vice just to be everywhere, he trusts @KashimSM to deliver. No vacuum at all.”

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi spoke at the event.
